Starting Pay: $15/hour | Saturdays Required (9:00am–5:00pm)

Central Meats is a family-owned butcher shop serving Chesapeake since 1960. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused full-time cashier to join our team.

Position Overview

This position is primarily customer service and checkout.

You will:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
• Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
• Scan items and ensure correct pricing/quantities
• Accept cash, credit, and other forms of payment
• Provide change and receipts
• Bag and package items properly
• Assist with light stocking and keeping the front area clean
• Help resolve customer questions or direct them appropriately
