Cashier - Concessions - 350 - Mellow Mushroom - Pigeon Forge, TN (Pigeon Forge, TN)

Essential Functions

• Take customer orders and assemble them correctly.
• Prepare food such as popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos, using standard formulas or following directions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Check identification for age-restricted items, such as alcoholic beverages. This position requires a valid TN ABC license.
• Accept payment from customers via a cash register.
• Check food items to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Keep the assigned area clean, sanitary, and safe.
• Answer questions about kiosk location, prices of goods sold there.
• Under the guidance of a supervisor, maintain kiosk records with information on products used and food served to customers.
• Ensure kiosk is always stocked properly with items needed. Restocking at the end of each shift.
• Enter data into a computerized cash register system.

Nonessential Functions

• Perform other duties and responsibilities without being asked.
• Work as a team player by assisting other employees with duties as necessary.

Qualification Standards

• Must be neatly dressed and well groomed in accordance with the company uniform and appearance policies.
• Must be able to operate a point of sale terminal, make change correctly, and complete credit card transactions.
• Must be able to calmly respond to angry guests and notify a manager.
• Must be able to stand for 6 – 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to complete all training steps and knowledge checks.
• Must be able to read menus to sight-impaired guests.
• Must be able to respond clearly to guests requests.
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment.
• Must be able to lift 30lbs. several times per shift.
• Must be able to effectively card all guests who purchase alcohol. This position requires a valid TN ABC license.
