Cashier

As a Wendy’s Cashier, we need you to bring your positive energy, smiles, enthusiasm and sense of urgency to the front counter and/or drive thru!

As a Cashier you’ll provide an outstanding customer experience by:

• Engaging with customers
• Operate the cash registers and take payments
• Assist customers with digital ordering and Mobile App Rewards
• Perform positional cleaning tasks
• Prepare beverages and Frosty as needed
• Coordinate and bag dine in and drive thru orders as needed
• Upselling when appropriate

Main responsibilities of a cashier:

• Smile and be friendly to our guests!
• Managing transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Accepting payments and providing receipts

Cashier job requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Energetic
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints or know when to ask a manager for help with difficult complaints
• Basic computer or cash register knowledge
• Ability to multi-task

The Wendy’s Story
First of all, yes, Wendy is a real person. And a pretty special one, being the daughter of our founder Dave Thomas.
