CASHIER - DAYTIME SHIFTS

McKinnon's Market & Super Butcher Shop - Everett, MA

McKinnon's is looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier to join our Everett team. This position is ideal for someone seeking steady morning and early-afternoon hours in a welcoming, fast-paced neighborhood market.

We are especially interested in applicants with consistent weekday availability. Typical shifts will begin in the morning and end by mid-afternoon.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and efficient service to every customer

• Accurately scan and bag customer purchases

• Process cash, credit, debit and other forms of payment

• Assist customers with questions and help resolve concerns

• Keep the checkout area clean, organized and properly stocked

• Follow all store policies regarding payments, rewards and customer privacy

• Help with light stocking or other front-end duties when needed

Qualifications:

• Dependable, punctual and comfortable working independently

• Friendly and professional when assisting customers

• Able to handle money and transactions accurately

• Comfortable standing for the duration of a shift

• Previous cashier or customer-service experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right person

Schedule:

• Morning through mid-afternoon shifts

• Consistent weekday availability preferred

• Full-time or part-time opportunities may be available
