Your experience is rewarded by advanced placement on our starting wage scale.Union positionReports to: Customer Service ManagerProvide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service, accurate cashiering and cash handling, store security and smooth store operations.Answer customer questions about products or services in a friendly, helpful, timely and accurate manner or refer unsolved questions or problems to appropriate staff.Promote ownership in an accurate, enthusiastic manner.Maximize efficient check-out techniques, bagging groceries while customer writes check, memorizing specials.Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change when needed.Maintain Front End department and entryways ensuring they remain clean and orderly.Keep outside walkways, loading dock and sidewalks clear of snow and ice.
