Pegasus Farm is currently searching for a part-time Cashier to sell products in our Country Store and Garden and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Have an acceptable background check
• Ability to operate computers and other office machines
• Must be able to take responsibility and work under pressure
• The ability to work well with the public

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers, maintain knowledge and help with the selection of merchandise
• Communicate information regarding product availability, ingredients and nutritional information
• Answer telephone in a pleasant manner
• React to all concerns of customers quickly and with a sense of importance
• Preform store opening and closing procedures
• Handle cash, change and operate the cash register
• Maintain the look and cleanliness of the store
• Perform administrative functions such as meeting attendance as needed
• Maintain open communication with other staff
• Take an active role in the Farm’s fundraising, special events and public relation activities
• Complete all employee time sheets, time off request sheets/need for job coverage to direct supervisor in a timely manner
• Complete other duties as assigned
