The Sales Associate / Cashier involves greeting customers, operating the cash register, processing sales transactions, and handling customer service duties.
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Create a fun and welcoming shopping experience by greeting customers and answering questions.
Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, receive and disburse money, collect payments, and provide proper change and receipts.
Communication: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of six (6) months of experience working as a cashier or in a related retail/customer service role.
Skills: Good organizational skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft software packages.
Schedule: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, rotating weekends, and holidays.
