Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, dependable
Lunch ShiftCashier to join our team! In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome and taken care of whether dining in, using the drive-thru, or ordering take-out. You’ll also play a key part in supporting our kitchen and keeping the front-of-house areas clean and well-stocked.
Please Note: We're looking for someone who can continue working weekday lunch shifts after the school year begins. If you're only available for the summer or your schedule will change in August due to school, this position won't be the right fit.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a positive attitude and provide outstanding customer service
- Take accurate take-out orders over the phone and at the counter
- Operate the drive-thru window and ensure timely service
- Assist kitchen staff by organizing and packaging take-out orders
- Complete sales transactions quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Keep the dining room clean and inviting for guests
- Restock and maintain customer self-serve stations (e.g., napkins, condiments, utensils)
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Availability to work weekday lunch shifts throughout the school year is required.
