Responsibilities:
- Greet customers when entering and leaving the premises
- Manage transactions using a cash register
- Balance the cash register
- Scan goods and ensure accurate pricing and quantities
- Accept payments in cash, credit, or check
- Provide change and receipts
- Issue coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards
- Process returns and refunds, and resolve customer complaints
- Bag and wrap purchased goods for safe transport
- Upsell and cross-sell when appropriate
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills
