Hirshleifers is looking for a Cashier to join our team! We are seeking a reliable, mature, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing high-value transactions, often involving multiple forms of payment. Exceptional attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Strong customer service skills are a must, as you will be interacting with clients and occasionally handling phone inquiries. This is a high-energy position that requires focus, professionalism, and multitasking ability. The role offers a dynamic work environment with diverse responsibilities and room for growth within the company. Candidate must also be available to work weekends.

A Cashier at Hirshleifers is responsible for delivering an exceptional checkout experience while supporting the brand’s luxury service standards. This role involves handling transactions accurately, assisting clients, and maintaining a polished, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately using POS systems
  • Provide a high-end, personalized customer experience aligned with luxury retail standards
  • Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing checkout area
  • Assist customers with questions regarding products, pricing, and store policies
  • Support sales associates with client transactions and special orders
  • Package purchases carefully, ensuring premium presentation
  • Help manage gift wrapping and special requests
  • Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Follow company procedures for loss prevention and security
Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous cashier or retail experience (luxury retail preferred)
