Cashier, Parking Garage

Job Description

Operates the cash register, collects and records all monies and tickets from customers who parked their cars in the garage.

Job Responsibility

• • Counts starting bank at beginning of shift.

• Reconciles cash-drawer to ensure the correct starting amount. Verifies adequate amount of change to begin the shift.

• • Operates the cash register, and determines each ticket type.

• Protects and secures all monies at all times.

• Ensures each patrons ticket issued entering the garage is paid according to the posted rates upon existing.

• Ensures posting clock is accurate.

• Processes and accounts for tickets at the end of each shift.

• • Prepares deposits at the end of each shift.

• Counts out starting bank.

• Ensures a sufficient amount of rolled coins and small denomination bills are left for the next shift.

• Attaches all required paperwork with each deposit.

• Brings all deposits collected during each shift to the appropriate area.

• Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of two (2) years cashiering experience with the public.
• Demonstrates Professionalism.
• Varied Weekdays,
