Job Summary


TraderBucks Flea Market is looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be one of the first people our customers and vendors interact with, helping create a positive shopping experience for everyone who walks through our doors.


In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, answer questions, process transactions, and help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and can thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately
• Answer customer questions and assist with locating products
• Help vendors and customers with general inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional checkout area
• Balance cash drawer and ensure transaction accuracy
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed
• Support other team members and management with daily operations
• Follow company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
