Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they enter and leave the premises
• Manage transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system
• Scan goods, ensure pricing and quantities are correct
• Accept payments via cash, credit, or check and provide receipts
• Balance the cash register at the end of shifts
• Issue coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards
• Process returns, refunds, and resolve customer complaints effectively
• Bag and wrap purchased goods for safe transport
• Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate

Qualifications & Skills

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers
• Basic computer knowledge and solid math skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and resolve complaints efficiently
