Cashier
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at  location on 100 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park. TX 78613. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a smooth operation within the restaurant. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant.
• Assist customers in placing their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and electronic payments using a POS system.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, including making change and processing refunds when necessary.
• Ensure order accuracy and completeness before presenting it to the kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation and ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and dining area.
• Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Upsell additional menu items or promotional offers to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash register reconciliation, restocking supplies, and cleaning as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold food quality and safety standards.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role, preferably in the food service industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and cash handling.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of pizza restaurant operations and menu items.
• Experience with upselling and promoting additional products or services.
• Proficiency in English and other languages.
