Guest Service ------------
Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guests experience. The Cashier interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.
Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a sincere personal invitation to return as the guests leave. Offer assistance to guests who may need help including seating guests at peak times. Process internet and phone food orders for curbside pickup. Process To-Go orders for guests who come into select their own food from the buffet. Friendly and courteous on the phone. Handle payments accurately. Knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery. Knows what is on buffet for the day and has a full knowledge of menu and prices.
Cleanliness ------------
Maintain organization and cleanliness at the vestibule host/cashier station and surrounding areas. May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct. Cleans all buffets and surrounding areas. Assists the Buffet Attendant when necessary. Follows local health department laws. Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness service and quality standards are met.
Operational Excellence ----------------------
Informs the Manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce the risk of robbery. Ensures drawer balances with daily paperwork. Punctuality and ability to multitask are critical to success. Position requires standing and walking 3 to 4 hours without a rest break. Regular moderate 1-35 lbs. lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching is required. Work environment requires the use of tools such as cash register, drink dispenser, and glasses. A forceful grip is required for the use of these tools. Work setting is within the restaurant.
Compensation ------------
$15.00 per hour
