About the Role: A Block is a leading wholesale mulch manufacturer and supplier, and we are looking for a motivated Seasonal Cashier to join our yard team. This is a fast-paced, outdoor-oriented environment where you’ll be the face of our customer service. While this starts as a seasonal position, there is a clear path to full-time, year-round employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and processing mulch transactions efficiently.
Handling cash and credit card payments accurately.
Providing friendly service and answering basic questions about our products.
What We’re Looking For:
Reliability: Someone who shows up ready to work in a busy yard environment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish): Highly preferred to better serve our diverse customer base.
Growth Mindset: Interested in learning the business from the ground up.
Bonus Points:
Machinery Skills: Ability to operate equipment (like loaders) is a huge plus and can lead to a permanent, year-round role with more responsibility.
