Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cashier who provides friendly responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers at the counter or table. Also performs other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation including preparing beverages and arranging food items.
Activities & Responsibilities:
· Provide an exceptional dining experience to every customer, every time
· Prepare bills for food and accept payment or make change.
· Balance receipts and payments in cash registers.
· Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
· Handle cash/card transaction
· Make sales referrals and introduce the new items on the menu
· Run foods and drinks to guests’ tables
· Take customers’ orders over the telephone
· Fill-in for fellow employees, where needed, to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel
· Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales
· Customer satisfaction-oriented
· Attention to detail and basic mathematical skills
· Reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 20 pounds
· Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 4-5 hours)
