Duties & Responsibilities

Always adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming

·       

Completes duties on opening, closing and side work checklists.

• Provide positive, memorable, and hospitable experiences for our guests; find ways to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Be welcoming and accommodating; educate patrons, and answer questions with a Mellow vibe.
• Know the menu; promote products and new menu items; remind customers of how amazing our food and drinks offerings are.
• Craft and deliver delicious cocktails while engaging with guests to provide memorable experience.
• Check IDs to confirm legal drinking age for all guests.
• Take orders, make recommendations, and offer positive feedback while being your unique self.
• Take care of business handling bills and payment process credit cards accurately and keep cash drawer balanced.
• Continually seek ways to exceed our guests’ needs and expectations; keep a positive attitude while dealing with customer feedback.
• Monitor, restock, and replenish the service counter and dining room as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of all laws affecting alcohol purchase and patrons.
• Be dependable and punctual; take pride in your role and be a good team member.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation; the counter area should reflect our high standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items while keeping a positive attitude.

Home Grown Industries of Georgia is the Franchisor of Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers. Mellow Mushroom opened in 1974 when three college students founded a business that reflected their eccentric philosophies. They saw pizza baking as an art form, and wanted to bring joy to others by perfecting the art of pizza. The first store was created out of an old liquor store on Spring Street near Georgia Tech. To accommodate the long lines and gaining popularity, more Mellow Mushrooms sprung up around Atlanta. By the late 80's, they opened their first franchise to an existing employee, followed by customer-owned franchises, and then to friends of employees and customers. One by one, the stores sprung up, built on a good idea and a great pizza pie. As our reputation for a great stone baked pizza grew, so did we, and it continues to this day. For over 50 years, Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers has been serving up fresh stone baked pizzas to-order in an eclectic, art-filled and family-friendly environment. Each Mellow is locally-owned and operated with a unique feel focused around customer service and high quality food.
