Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Washington, DC.

The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions, assisting customers, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent service. This role requires attention to detail, professionalism, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit card, and electronic transactions accurately
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Maintain accurate transaction records and receipts
• Balance cash drawer and assist with daily reconciliation activities
• Answer customer questions and provide information as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong numerical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills preferred
