Job Description
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions.
- Handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and other approved forms of payment accurately.
- Verify customer identification and comply with all applicable laws and store policies regarding age-restricted sales.
- Provide customers with helpful and knowledgeable service regarding store products and locations.
- Answer customer questions and assist customers in locating products.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow established cash-handling procedures.
- Keep checkout areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, cleaning, and other general store duties as needed.
- Monitor the sales area and report any customer, product, safety, or security concerns to management.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Whitefish Liquor Store.
- Work cooperatively with other employees and management to maintain an efficient store environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
