Cashiers (Hiring All Shifts)

LV Petroleum is a prominent player in the fuel and convenience service industry, known for our commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service. We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Cashier to join our team at our travel centers in Minden, LA.

WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 11am - 4pm inside our travel center located at 2198 HWY 532, Minden, LA.

Job Overview:

As a Cashier at LV Petroleum, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by accurately processing transactions and assisting customers with their needs. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a seamless shopping experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases while addressing any queries professionally.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Store Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area and surrounding environment clean, organized, and inviting for customers.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of products and promotions to provide helpful information to customers.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Restocking Assistance: Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as required.

Requirements

Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Skills: Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions accurately.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Dependability: Must be reliable and flexible, able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
