Casino Bartender

Located just minutes away from all of the excitement of the glittering Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino provides guests with a relaxing getaway perfect for business travelers, a long weekend with friends or your next family vacation. We are looking for a Part Time Bartender that will provide friendly and excellent service to every guest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available.
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons and cocktail servers.
• Provide the beverage to the guest in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Make beverage recommendations to guests as appropriate.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change etc.
• Ensure cleanliness of the beverage outlet as well as all supplies and equipment used to perform job duties. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• All other duties assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years old. Must have experience 2 years’ experience as a bartender. Must have a valid NV Health, TAM, and Non-Gaming Card and Gaming Card registration. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels. Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with guest and co-workers. Knowledge of menu items, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishes.
