Core accountabilities
People & Culture
Supervise day-to-day barrel warehouse activities and union personnel.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a proactive safety culture.
Support employee development and positive labor relations.
Materials & Movement
Coordinate barrel and whiskey movements through inventory and tracking systems.
Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse logistics.
Hit production schedules and departmental performance goals.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Lead initiatives that ensure personal safety, food safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Safeguard whiskey quality and proper handling at every step.
Continuous Improvement
Partner with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment and operational challenges.
Identify efficiencies and lead or support continuous improvement projects.
Leadership Development
Work in close partnership with the Barrel Warehouse Manager to expand leadership, operational, and technical acumen.
Gain exposure to team management, production operations, and regulatory compliance.
What you bring
Required
Bachelor’s degree.
Clear, confident communication and leadership skills.
Strong organization and planning capability.
Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Collaborative approach with operations and maintenance partners.
Preferred
3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or operations.
Background with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and TTB standards.
Desire to grow a long-term career in operations leadership.
Working conditions
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Work 8+ hour shifts with occasional overtime.
Perform in loud, humid environments around moving equipment.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and quality.
