Casting Operator – 2nd ShiftInova Staffing is seeking an experienced Casting Operator for a growing manufacturing company in Willoughby, OH. Our client is a global leader in the production of cast nylon and other high-performance engineering plastics, serving customers throughout the United States and Mexico.This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, team-oriented company that values quality, innovation, and employee growth.Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $19.00+/hour, based on experienceJob Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor casting and molding equipment used to manufacture cast nylon products.
- Adjust machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure quality production.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Prepare, clean, and maintain molds, tooling, and production equipment.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Complete production and maintenance records accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous casting, molding, manufacturing, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and production specifications.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
