Casting Nonconformance Review Coordinator

Location: Muskegon County, MI | Schedule: 1st shift

Step into a day where you are the pivot point between discovery and decision. You arrive on 1st shift, scan the queue of castings flagged for issues, and map out the path each part will take through engineering review. You’ll partner closely with product, process, and quality engineers, ensuring that every defect is characterized accurately and that each part moves swiftly and correctly through its next step.

What your day looks like

• Triaging castings identified with defects and documenting precise characteristics.
• Improving the speed and consistency of engineering’s review activities for nonconforming cast components.
• Working shoulder-to-shoulder with product, process, and quality engineering, as well as manufacturing, to resolve findings.
• Maintaining accurate defect tracking and assisting with daily management of defective casting inventory as it advances through the review process.

Compensation and benefits

Base pay: $22.00 per hour

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of one year of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred

• Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical technology from an accredited institution
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with reading blueprints
