    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 
    • Understand and practice the Quality policy
    • Loads raw materials into machines
    • Manually on and off bears materials from/to machines
    • Operates cork spraying machine
    • Dross ladle and pot when needed
    • Performs visual inspections for quality and quantity, makes minor adjustments to correct problems under supervision.
    • Assist team members in maximizing production
    • Be familiar with all grid types, proper alignment on pallets and proper stacks
    • Must also be sure to use only non-defective pallets or slip sheets
    • Generally, meets minimum grid production requirements.
    • Complete hourly CTQ data collector entry
    • Operates a Forklift to move materials
    • Identifies a variety of grid types 
    • Understand and follow Work Instructions
    • Be at work station on time
    • Leave work station on time, unless otherwise instructed by the Team Lead or Supervisor
    • Follow and maintain Lean activities (5S, Housekeeping, etc.)
    • Assist with mold and trim die changes 
    • Be at work station on time
    • Leave work station on time, unless otherwise instructed by the Team Lead/Supervisor
    • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, and be able to handle challenging situations
    • Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime
    • Ability to be detail oriented, and sense of urgency
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Read, write and speak basic English
    • Understand specifications and labels associated with hazardous material
    • Performs basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
    • Ability to learn team skills
    • Understands CTQ & SPC – reads & understands charts and graphs
    • Forklift certification

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or greater.  

    SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

    • Comply with Blood Lead Health and Hygiene Protocols
    • Understand and Comply with correct lifting procedures which enable lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Comply with Hazards Communication procedures
    • Must follow all ergonomic recommendations and safety procedures
