The major function of this position is:

Accurately and efficiently entering and processing returned product for repair and credit, including data entry into SAP, as well as the cleaning, inspection, evaluation, and processing of returned product.

Pay: $19/hour

The principle responsibilities and duties of this position are:

Data Entry

  • Accurately and efficiently process entries into SAP and route to the correct department.

  • Maintain an average of 16.5 entries per hour.

Returns / Inspection / Processing

  • Clean, inspect, evaluate, and process product for damage, credits, inventory, and breakdowns.

  • Accurately enter all return codes and information into SAP in a timely manner. Maintain an average of 18 entries per hour.

  • Ability to determine return stock for account credit or non-credit.

  • Perform inventory of product on returns carts as needed.

Schedule:

  • Availability during the week between 8:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday. Must be flexible to work a schedule that may include weekends.

  • Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week. Hours may vary from week to week depending on business needs but will not exceed an average of 29 hours per week, year-round.

Desired Qualifications

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:

High School graduate, with 1-3 years data entry or customer service experience.

In lieu of education, the following equivalent experience is preferred:

4-5 years of customer service and/or data entry experience.

Listed below are the particular skills preferred for this position:

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Good hand-eye coordination.

  • Typing - 45 w.p.m.

  • Strong computer/data entry skills.

Special Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings.

  • Ability to visually inspect sunglasses for small imperfections.

  • Ability to utilize a PC.

  • Ability to lift a 20 lb box.

  • Ability to move, push, and pull carts across flat surfaces, requiring a physical force of up to 25-30 pounds
