Position Title Casual Dish Room - Student Dining Job Description

Assist other crew members in the Dish Room during meal service which can include:

• Sorting silverware
• Breaking down meal trays to be washed
• Loading dish machine
• Unloading dish machine
• Putting dishes, pots and pans in the appropriate areas
• Assist with catered meal dishes
• Cleaning dish room at the end of the shift

Required Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling.
• Ability to work with others.
• At least 16 or older.
• Ability to adjust schedules last minute due to catered events running over.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

Preferred Qualifications

• Reliable transportation

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods
• Tolerate warm and humid environments
• Lift at least 25# consistently
