Casual Team Member/Forklift Driver

Finlayson Frame & Truss is on the lookout for a reliable, energetic team player to join our Trade Yard in Zillmere, Queensland.

This is a casual role with a roster across Monday to Friday, perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and helping tradies and builders get what they need - fast! You'll be doing everything from picking and packing orders, loading trucks, driving forklift and keeping the yard in top shape, to delivering top-notch service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the assembly and manufacture of timber frames and trusses to meet precise specifications
• Operate and maintain production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
• Ensure a high standard of workmanship and quality control throughout the production process
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

• A current forklift licence
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction-related role, preferably in frame and truss production
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Familiarity with power tools and production equipment
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• A safety-focused mindset and willingness to comply with all WHS requirements
