    Description

    Position Summary:

    • Provide mentoring and supportive services to children ages 11 - 21 with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders as part of the Children's Community Action Treatment Team (CAT).
    • Provide services in the community; including school, home, etc.
    • Develop positive relationships by providing guidance and facilitating interactions and services for children and their families in Charlotte County.
    • Observe behaviors and family interactions and provide vital feedback to team members.
    • Interact with community partners and other stakeholders, as appropriate.
    • Hours include evenings and on-call, as necessary or assigned.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Minimum one (1) year experience working with children and families.

    • Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of children with mental health concerns, families, and family systems preferred.

    • Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.

    • Valid FL drivers' license, insurance, and safe driving record.

    • CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment.

    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

    • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all driving conditions.

    • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
