Required Qualifications
Education
HS Diploma/GED
Completion of a radiography program (school of radiography or college-based program)
Certifications/Licensure (Required)
ARRT RT (R)
ARRT RT (CT)
NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
BLS
CPR required
Venipuncture experience included/required for this role
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT procedures with professionalism and service excellence
Gather and prepare necessary medical/surgical/radiology supplies per protocol
Maintain sterility of field and instruments when applicable
Verify patient identity according to facility policy
Communicate with patients/families before, during, and after procedures to reduce anxiety while maintaining dignity and privacy
Monitor patients before/after contrast injections; report changes to nursing staff and the Radiologist
Ensure availability of records, history, labs, and prior imaging/reports as needed
Follow venipuncture and power injector protocols
Support emergency response as needed in case of complications
Maintain CT room readiness: linens, contrast media, biopsy/drainage supplies, and general stocking/inventory
Clean CT gantry/table/peripheral equipment after each use; maintain unit/room cleanliness
Participate in QA/QC requirements (daily/monthly/ACR specs) and report equipment malfunctions
Assist with urgent cases (e.g., trauma) and ensure images are processed/sent/verified in PACS/RIS per protocol; escalate unusual findings to the Radiologist

Schedule: Fri, Sat, Sun | 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM (call included)
Shift Length: 13 hours
Hours/Week: ~39
