Key Responsibilities:Patient Care:Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the procedure, obtaining medical history, and ensuring comfort and safety.Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality images while ensuring their safety and minimizing discomfort.Administer contrast agents as required, following established protocols.CT Imaging Procedures:Operate and maintain CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.Perform imaging studies as ordered by physicians, adhering to established protocols and ensuring accuracy.Monitor patients during procedures to identify and address any adverse reactions or complications.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to radiation safety standards and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Follow hospital and department protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, ARRT, or other relevant organizations).Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.Technical and Administrative Duties:Review images for clarity and quality, making adjustments as needed.Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures performed and any observations.Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Equipment Maintenance:Perform routine checks on CT equipment and report any issues to the appropriate department.Assist in troubleshooting and coordinating equipment repairs or upgrades.
