TRANSFORMING THE WORLD
We are a college ministry movement working to see a generation of college students transformed by the power of Jesus Christ and His Gospel, in partnership with the local church, reaching the world for the glory of God.
THE CCO CALLS COLLEGE STUDENTS TO SERVE JESUS CHRIST WITH THEIR ENTIRE LIVES
CCO CORE PURPOSE
Transforming college students to transform the world.
CCO CORE VALUES
About the Role
CCO Volunteers are invaluable volunteer contributors in the pursuit to Catalyze Kingdom transformation by sharing the Gospel, inviting students into the life of the local church, and mobilizing the Christian community and churches to engage ministry on campus. CCO Volunteers assist in developing deep collaboration between church/community members and students that promotes strong biblical discipleship, life long commitment to the Church, and the flourishing of Christ's kingdom in their local context and all areas of life.
Purpose of the Position
A Catalyst Volunteer expands CCO's presence in new contexts for ministry. A Catalyst builds or sustains CCO ministry on a particular campus at a volunteer level, gaining or sustaining campus access for CCO, building awareness or CCO and collaboration with local churches, and engages CCO's Campus Ministry Strategy with students in collaboration with CCO Area Leadership and the Department of Strategic Partnerships. The Catalyst Volunteer shares the Gospel with students, invites students into the life of a local church, and calls students to follow Jesus with entire lives through biblical discipleship. A regular rhythm of strategic engagement is set based on the needs of the ministry and is communicated to the volunteer by their Volunteer Coordinator.
