This position is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of USCG Inspected Vessels, including powerboats and sailboats, while prioritizing the safety of crew and passengers both underway and at dock.
The role involves delegating and managing all pre-trip preparations such as provisioning, vessel inspection, and post-trip cleaning and resupply.
Additionally, the candidate must ensure guests receive a luxury, guest-centric experience during excursions, including overseeing food and beverage service.
Routine and critical maintenance needs must be reported and managed, and the role includes managing assigned crew members.
Other duties may be assigned as needed. The ideal candidate holds a current USCG Master 50 Ton near coastal credential, sail endorsement for sail catamarans, TWIC Card, STCW Basic Training, and First Aid/CPR certification. An II/3 STCW Endorsement is a plus for BVI operations.
