Category Enablement Associate Manager, Retail Support

As a Category Enablement Associate Manager, you'll support the primary functions of the Retail Support Team including natural disasters, store lifecycles, and drive times. This role will focus on managing the inventory movement and placement for the store life cycle projects across all categories and assisting in store life cycle inventory planning. This role will also focus on maintaining timelines and milestones involving demand planning for each project and communicating updates as needed to cross functional partners. The Associate Manager will build and leverage relationships with retail leadership, category teams, project managers, and internal supply chain partners.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Drive process and system improvements, building and executing plans that support key business strategies.
• Manage and execute operational processes and contribute to projects ranging from functional initiatives to larger cross-functional efforts.
• Identify issues, opportunities, and risks, providing recommendations and escalating concerns when needed.
• Analyze root causes and collaborate with partners to resolve challenges and improve outcomes.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships, communicate effectively, and help navigate organizational roadblocks.
• Influence results through leadership, partnership, and organizationally valued behaviors

Basic qualifications

• 3 years of experience in merchandising, demand planning, e-commerce, marketing, operations, customer experience, vendor management, or supply chain
• 2 years of data analysis
• 2 years of project management experience
• Ability to communicate with leadership of varying levels and influence without authority

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Retail experience
