Job Title: Category Manager – Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and business-minded Category Manager – Business Development & Strategic Partnerships to support strategic partnerships, content distribution, and ad sales monetization initiatives. This role requires a strong combination of financial analysis, business strategy, executive communication, and presentation development, with the ability to transform complex business and financial insights into executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, and partnership materials.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills, experience supporting partnership negotiations, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders. Experience within digital media, technology, advertising, or consulting is preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, and strategic business materials by synthesizing financial, business, and data insights.
  • Analyze financial, audience, content, and market data to support partnership strategy and monetization initiatives.
  • Assist in partnership negotiations, vendor agreements, and business development activities.
  • Support the management and expansion of strategic partnerships while tracking partnership performance and reporting progress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and external partners.
  • Create executive communications, business updates, dashboards, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Leverage AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to improve analysis, productivity, and content creation.
  • Monitor industry trends across digital media, advertising, content distribution, and monetization.
  • Manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously while navigating ambiguity and solving business challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Strategy, Consulting, Media, Advertising, Technology, or related fields.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to create executive-level presentations.
  • Experience performing financial analysis, business analysis, and developing basic financial models.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting partnership negotiations, vendor management, or strategic deal execution.
  • Knowledge of digital content distribution, monetization strategies, and digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Experience using AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) for analysis and presentation development.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Digital Media, Technology, Streaming, Advertising, or Consulting industries.
  • Understanding of digital advertising technologies, ad serving, tracking, and measurement platforms.
  • Exposure to contract review or basic legal concepts related to partnerships and vendor agreements.
  • Experience managing executive communications and strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
