Job Title: Buying Assistant Footwear
Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite at PHK Fridays Work from Home)
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Summary:
The selected candidate will report to the Footwear Merchandising Director and provide project support for the Footwear Merchandising team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in footwear or apparel buying, merchandising, product creation, or retail within a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environment.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 2 years of experience in footwear or apparel buying and/or merchandising, product creation, or retail in a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Ability to organize work and systems to meet the needs of the business.
• Strong affinity for current market trends and how apparel can continue to be a style leader in the marketplace.
• Footwear, Apparel, Equipment, or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising experience.
• Understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT, and others.

Important Note:

• This role is focused on Buying/Merchandising. Candidates with only Visual Merchandising experience are not a fit.
