The TikTok Shop US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. The team is responsible for building the TikTok Ecommerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. We are looking for a highly analytical, business-oriented, and self-motivated intern to join the User Growth Strategy team supporting the TIKTOP SHOP EBHV (Electronics, Books, Home & Living & Verticals) business.

In this role, you will work closely with Business Strategy, Category, Product, Marketing, and Data Science teams to identify user growth opportunities, support strategic decision-making, and build scalable analytics capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in e-commerce, marketplace strategy, growth analytics, and data-driven business planning.

Responsibilities:

• Support user growth strategy by conducting data-driven analyses and identifying actionable business opportunities.
• Analyze user lifecycle, acquisition, retention, and purchasing behaviors to identify key growth drivers.
• Conduct industry and category analyses to evaluate growth opportunities across users, products, merchants, channels, and categories.
• Identify high-potential acquisition products, merchants, and supply characteristics to support category growth initiatives.
• Build analytical frameworks to answer business questions and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Write SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets.
• Prepare business review materials, strategy presentations, and executive-ready insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Strategy, Category, Product, Marketing, and Data Science on high-impact growth initiatives.
• Support ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as business needs arise. Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience using Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and time manage high profile initiatives, curious, self-motivated, bias-for-action ("no task is too small" mentality)

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred
