Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled catering functions under the supervision of the Catering Supervisor. Ensures accurate and timely execution of all assigned events during each shift. Responsible for setup, service, breakdown, and maintaining cleanliness of event spaces while delivering exceptional guest service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble and transport food, beverages, and supplies to scheduled event locations.
• Accurately log and monitor food temperatures to ensure safety compliance.
• Set up tables, décor, buffet stations, and service areas according to company standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain buffet presentation and replenish items as needed during service.
• Clean event areas during and after functions to ensure a neat and orderly environment.
• Break down event setups and return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility promptly.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards when applicable.
• Stock, clean, and maintain catering equipment and facility.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service at all times.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings and available products.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler's Permit.
• Alcohol Server Permit may be required depending on state regulations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and transport catering equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
