Join our Catering Department as a Catering Clerk/Driver! Our gourmet store is fast-paced and growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, dependable team member to help take catering orders, prepare items, and deliver delicious gourmet foods to our customers.
This role includes in-store catering support and delivery using a company-owned vehicle (CDL not required).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, prompt customer service in person and over the phone
- Take, process, and pack catering orders (including online orders)
- Prepare catering and deli items during non-delivery times
- Deliver and set up catering orders safely and on time using a company vehicle
- Ensure all orders are accurate and complete (utensils, condiments, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation
- Follow all food safety, safety, and company policies
Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (minimum 3 years) with a clean driving record
- At least 1 year of delivery driving experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of the shift
