As a Catering Delivery Driver / Front of House Team Member, you will help provide exceptional hospitality both inside the restaurant and throughout our community.

Position Overview

This is a dual-role position combining Front of House responsibilities with catering deliveries.

When you are not completing a catering delivery, you will work as a Front of House Team Member, serving guests and supporting the daily needs of the restaurant.

When a catering delivery is scheduled, you will transition from your Front of House position to prepare for and complete the catering delivery. After the delivery is completed and you return to the restaurant, you will resume your Front of House responsibilities for the remainder of your scheduled shift.

Catering deliveries may vary from day to day based on guest and business needs.

What You'll Do

Front of House Responsibilities

When not completing catering deliveries, you will support daily Front of House operations. Responsibilities may include:

• Greet and serve guests with a warm, friendly, and positive attitude
• Take and fulfill guest orders accurately and efficiently
• Support front counter, dining room, and drive-thru operations
• Bag and deliver guest orders
• Stock Front of House supplies and maintain organized work areas
• Keep guest and dining areas clean and welcoming
• Answer guest questions and assist with their needs
• Create positive and memorable connections with guests
• Communicate and work effectively with Team Members and Restaurant Leaders
• Provide Chick-fil-A's signature hospitality and service
• Support other Front of House needs as assigned

Catering Delivery Responsibilities

When a catering delivery is scheduled, you will be responsible for helping ensure our catering guests receive the same level of service and hospitality they would receive inside our restaurant.

Responsibilities may include:

• Review and verify catering orders for accuracy before leaving the restaurant
• Ensure all food, beverages, utensils, condiments, and catering supplies are included
• Safely load and transport catering orders
• Deliver orders to businesses, schools, organizations, and special events
• Ensure catering orders arrive safely, accurately, and on time
• Communicate professionally and courteously with catering guests
• Assist with catering setup when requested
• Represent Chick-fil-A professionally while out in the community
• Follow all traffic laws and restaurant delivery procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of catering and delivery equipment
• Communicate any delivery concerns or guest needs to Restaurant Leadership
• Return to the restaurant after completing deliveries and resume Front of House responsibilities

Guest Service

Whether you are serving a guest inside the restaurant or delivering a catering order in the community, you will be expected to:

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service
• Listen carefully to guest needs and requests
• Answer questions about menu items and catering options
• Help resolve guest concerns appropriately
• Communicate concerns to Restaurant Leadership when needed
• Look for opportunities to create a remarkable guest experience

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must meet the restaurant's age requirements for catering delivery
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record
• Reliable and dependable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and passion for serving others
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Comfortable transitioning between Front of House and catering delivery responsibilities
• Able to work independently while completing deliveries
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to load, unload, and transport catering orders and equipment
• Able to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant and catering needs
• Follow all Chick-fil-A rules, food safety standards, dress code, and restaurant policies

What to Expect

This position is not exclusively a delivery-driver position.

You will spend your scheduled shift working as a Front of House Team Member unless you are needed to complete a catering delivery. When a catering order is ready for delivery, you will transition from Front of House operations to complete the delivery. Once the delivery is complete, you will return to the restaurant and continue working as a Front of House Team Member.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, guest-focused, organized, and comfortable moving between restaurant operations and catering deliveries. Whether you're serving a guest at the restaurant or delivering an order in the community, you'll represent our restaurant through exceptional service and hospitality.
