ABOUT THE POSITION
This position is responsible for providing extraordinary service during events. This position supports setup and breakdown of events and acts as primary service staff at events. The hours of this position vary based on events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Set up and break down space according to event specifications, including the shifting and/or removal of tables, chairs, and other furniture.
- Participate in pre-shift review of BEO with service captain and culinary team.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, answer questions regarding ingredients and allergens.
- Keep service areas clean and organized.
- Provide delivery service for box lunch delivery and offsite catering as needed.
- Support service for offsite catering setup, including the safe transportation of equipment, food, beverage, and personnel.
- Maintain highest standard of service for all onsite and offsite catering clients.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality control.
- Adhere to all alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent, one (1) year of food service experience, and one (1) year of server experience; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid King County Food Handler’s Permit.
- Class 12 MAST Permit
- Basic proficiency in computer skills including ability to use email, ADP, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to listen patiently and attentively, ability to express self clearly and effectively, and the ability to adapt communication based on audience and purpose with inclusivity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, within diverse teams and environments.
- Ability to employ best practices associated with the position, while displaying an on-going commitment to growth and self-development.
- Ability to adhere to attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

- This position may occasionally be required to lift and/or move objects up to fifty (50) pounds.
