Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Catering Executive Chef 3 to lead an elevated culinary and catering program at Liberty Mutual’s corporate headquarters in Boston.

Incentives

Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Flexibility required for occasional evenings and rare weekends

What You'll Do

In this key leadership role, you will:

  • Oversee all catering culinary operations supporting 35 conference rooms
  • Lead execution of day-to-day catering, executive dining, and high-touch special events
  • Collaborate closely with the Catering Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Develop innovative menus and manage event proposals and tastings
  • Ensure excellence in food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation
  • Manage ordering, inventory, labor costs, and food cost control
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 4 hourly employees (3 cooks, 1 utility)
  • Maintain a highly organized kitchen operation with strong attention to detail

This role is 60–70% hands-on, ideal for a chef who enjoys being actively involved in production while leading a team.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
