WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

\n

The Catering Sales Associate supports Catering Sales Managers (CSMs) in growing QC Catering sales by handling lead responses, creating proposals, ensuring CSM success, supporting clients, and formulating and communicating sales strategies. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively across departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on work and excels in organizational tasks, supporting multiple CSMs administratively.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 1 year sales support experience.
• \n
• Minimum 1 year Hospitality/Customer Service experience.

WORKLOAD / HOURS

\n

Expected work hours are 40-45 per week, potentially more during peak seasons, with possible night and weekend shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Sales Team on prospecting, relationship building, event selling and execution, and customer follow-up.
• \n
• Quickly respond to inbound leads and assist Catering Sales Managers in defining client needs for successful events.
• \n
• Manage phone duties, company email, and guest interactions.
• \n
• Produce and manage detailed proposals, present to operations and secure timely payments.
• \n
• Input data into Catering CRM Software and attend monthly networking events.
• \n
• Achieve monthly and annual sales goals and improve closing ratios.
• \n
• Enhance client experiences continuously and foster vendor/venue relationships.
• \n
• Oversee third-party rentals and maintain accurate financial records.
• \n
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth day-of event execution.
• \n
• Drive personal and team growth, suggest sales improvements, and attend required meetings.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
