Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and store incoming catering supplies, equipment, and food items.
Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Organize and maintain the warehouse space, ensuring it is clean, safe, and efficient.
Prepare and pack orders for upcoming events, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
Manage the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for reordering to management.
Assist with the tracking of equipment and supplies to and from events.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics role, preferably in the catering or food service industry.
Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack (certification preferred).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Basic computer proficiency, including email and order tracking systems.
