Provides diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services and interprets images for ultrasound procedures. Assists the cardiologist and gathers cardiac data to inform diagnostic decisions.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasonographer Program
• Associates Degree

Education specialization:

• Ultrasound Technology

Experience:

• One year experience in an acute care cardiac cath environment

Credentials:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• BLS - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
