    Job Summary

    Job Shift: Days

    Job Type: Full Time

    Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

    Performs direct and indirect duties in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, supporting physicians and staff with the clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care, and completing additional duties as assigned. Functions as scrub, monitor, and circulator for all invasive, surgical, and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and Interventional Vascular Radiology (IVR). Maintains inventory control and is fully capable of responding to all cardiac alerts and STEMI activations.

    Reviews and documents pertinent patient history and relevant clinical data, and serves as a resource to facilitate appropriate procedure scheduling and exam protocoling in collaboration with the performing physician. Assists the supervisor with evaluation of room equipment, supply ordering, and billing processes. Maintains direct responsibility for ensuring the availability, functionality,

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Certificate from accredited program in Radiologic Technology
    • Thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology, & human anatomy
    • Venipuncture experience

    Preferred:

    • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology & ARRT VI Vascular intervention

    Other Requirements:

    • ARRT Registered in Radiology and Florida License
    • AHA - BLS
    • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
