Your future role at a glance:

Location: Panama City, FL 

Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Bay 

Department: Invasive Cardiology 

Schedule: Day Shift | Full-time with on call requirements 

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Partner with physicians and the care team to monitor heart rate, rhythms, and vital signs, ensuring clear, proactive communication about any changes in patient condition.
  • Manage essential diagnostic testing, such as cardiac output and hemodynamic monitoring, to provide the accurate data needed for precise cardiovascular care.
  • Serve as a vital member of the clinical team by anticipating procedural needs, preparing equipment, and adapting seamlessly to the flow of each case.
  • Uphold a high standard for safety and sterility, ensuring meticulous attention to detail during every procedure and the handling of medical supplies.
  • Provide compassionate patient education, guiding individuals through their post-procedure care and recovery steps with clear, accessible instructions.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

 

Required Credential(s):

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

Preferred Credential(s):

  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • Cath Lab or IR/Vascular experience
