Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in a high-performing acute care hospital cardiac catheterization laboratory. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures while supporting physicians and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced procedural environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile fields for cases
- Support diagnostic and interventional procedures involving:
- Coronary artery disease
- Peripheral vascular disease
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Permanent pacemaker procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and specialized cath lab equipment
- Monitor patient status and maintain procedural documentation
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety and sterile technique standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary procedural teams
- Maintain accurate charting and patient records within Epic
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required
- ARRT certification required
- Fluoroscopy Permit required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- RCIS certification alone will not be accepted
- Pending Fluoro Permit candidates considered if application has already been submitted at time of application
- Strong interventional cardiology and vascular procedure experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
