Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist (Contract)

Location: New York 14642
Pay: $2,594 – $2,905/week

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, primarily Days (e.g., 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

• Some late-night/evening coverage

• On-call/callback as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and sterile field for cardiac procedures

• Assist in multiple roles: scrub, circulator, documenter/monitor

• Operate and maintain equipment; anticipate procedure needs

• Support interventions in Cath, EP, structural heart, and mechanical circulatory procedures

• Maintain patient safety and ensure accurate documentation

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience

  • Critical care or cardiac experience required

  • Experience with mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo) and structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, etc.)

• Licensure/Certification:

  • RCIS (CCI) or meet NYS Public Health Law 2824 requirements

  • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS

• Additional:

  • COVID fully vaccinated

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to function in a fast-paced OR/Cath Lab
